Practicing inking with Manga Studio.
My journey deeper into photography, art-making, filmmaking. Practiciing the craft that makes my creative juices flow.

Really refining my skills in Manga Studio 5. My weakness is in character consistency, just don’t look the same every time I draw each of them. But it has to do with rushing. But I’m sure if I went back and redraw over this page, I could make it look even more polished. Also, straight lines seem to make things look cleaner. Look at that establishing shot with the 2-point perspective. Impressive, huh? The lines have character. Manga Studio’s perspective ruler tool is impressive.
In honor of my father and uncle, I’d thought I’d honor Father’s Day with these drawings from my uncle’s kids that they drew while I babysitted them between the ages of 0 to 6 years old.

Ordered Manga Studio 5 and played around real quick. It’s not that I can’t do the same quality sketch in Photoshop. Manga Studio just has everything set up nicely for hardcore illustrators like myself. But the most coveted thing about Manga Studios is that pen. Still having to learn it, though. I ordered it before, but that was when I had Windows XP and the shit crashed. So just a warning, from what I noticed so far, is that you need a powerful PC, mulit-core because Manga Studio seems kinda clunky. But once you see the quality of art you can get, maybe it will be worth it. (more…)

I’m at my wit’s end dealing with these asshole Fiverr Buyers. But I really suspect it’s the same asshole or group of people opening mulitple accounts under different names and fucking with me. (more…)
