Quantum Teleportation Advances Quantum Computer Technology
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/05/29/quantum-teleportation-computer-network_n_5413418.html
Doesn’t Canada already have a prototype quantum computer already crunching data??? So why is this article saying it’s only theory right now?
According to the article, a qubit (quantum bit) functions much like a digital bit, but can represent more data than a binary data (which is two values, what most luddites call zeros and ones). That would imply HUGE AMOUNTS of data being able to process in a quantum computer. It would make the Internet faster, security more complex, and who knows what AI those mad scientists are developing.
Maybe you will wear it like a Nicorette patch on your forearm or forehead.

Propose a Challenge: Interstellar and Implications
By Chongchen Saelee

Let’s say we did discover a real black hole. But we haven’t received any real evidence of what it does. How many of you ordinary people of the world are brave enough to enter into it, in hopes of coming back to us with something mind-blowing? How many of you are truly fearless?

Michael Jackson Hologram Technology and Its Implications
By Chongchen Saelee

I wonder if you’re getting spooked by how advanced this technology is. What possible good can come of this? I already know that it’s dead in the water when it comes to “live performances”. No one wants to go watch a big screen. They want REAL PERFORMERS doing real music. Otherwise, they can go watch a movie.
The technology is so advanced, if my understanding is correct, that they video feed can be broadcast in real-time with a body double and have the face tracked onto the moving double with no problem. That’s scary stuff.
It makes me wonder which countries our governments are going to use this to dupe. Who are they planning on assassinating? Who are they planning on ressurrecting and impersonating?

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is the Official Title Man of Steel sequel

Here’s your first look at the official title and logo of the sequel to “Man of Steel”. It will be titled “Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice”.
I get the feeling the title was crafted like that based on some keywords or SEO or something. It has to tie all their Batman and Superman movies together subliminally. And there’s that introduction of the word “Justice” to lead you into that last movie featuring the Justice League. Man, marketing is tough business.

McDonald’s New Mascot Happy The Happy Meal Is Scary

McDonald’s just announced their new mascot “Happy The Happy Meal” and it looks like it aims to mooch off of the success of the film Despicable Me’s minons. But it comes off as creepy. I think it’s the angular edges and not necessarily the big eyes or big smile. Then again, Ronald McDonald has ALWAYS been scary looking. Or maybe it doesn’t matter. McDonald’s is still at the top of the fast food chain. It’s only worth posting because I do character designs myself.

Jackpot Bloom: A Child’s Nightmare – Prequel Short Story
By Chongchen Saelee
I remember a story my father told me when I was a young boy. I must have been 8… 9, 10 years old? Anyway, he would tell me this story about brave warriors fighting off dark demons. It was a strange story to tell a boy before he’d go to sleep. It would induce strange dreams. But over the years, I had forgotten the story. Remnants of that dream, however, still come back to me every now and then. It only takes a single moment in my day, something like looking up at the happy yellow sun, and the smell of green grass to conjure up the images from my father’s story. (more…)

Why Do Young White Men Love FX’s “Louie”?
By Chongchen Saelee
The cable FX TV show “Louie” is played by comedian Louis CK, in a pseudo-biographical series. He’s a middle-aged white man, divorced from a black wife, and raising his “white-looking” daughters on his own. Most of the gags involve his fallible nature and quirks on how he sees life. And most of it is quite surreal. (more…)
