• Jackpot Bloom Now Available At Amazon.com and BarnesAndNoble.com!!!

    UPDATE

    Jackpot Bloom Amazon Listing
    Jackpot Bloom Amazon Listing

Well, it turns out you have to manually add the image thumbnail to the Amazon listing page. Lulu.com’s Global Reach program only submits the text data and some other very basic info to the Amazon databases. So you have to sign up for an Amazon.com Author Central account and edit the listing there, including uploading a thumbnail of the book cover. Ironically, Lulu.com doesn’t let you “fix” their book cover thumbnail, but particularly with Jackpot Bloom where the colors are all off. At least BarnesAndNoble.com automatically got it correct. So now that makes Amazon.com and BarnesAndNoble.com displaying the correct cover colors. Noice.

    What the hell, Lulu.com?!!

Jackpot Bloom is paired with a man in speedo? It’s a kid’s book. I haven’t been looking at any gay porn. And that dude in the speedo doesn’t look like a graphic novel either. Wouldn’t Jackpot Bloom be paired with other graphic novels? SMDH, Lulu.com.

After coloring Jackpot Bloom, I learned some new coloring techniques. Would definitely have to apply those to Agent S.

    Happy Halloweenie, folks!

Here’s a sketch of a bad-ass babe I was going to make into a videogame. Maybe someday I’ll sit down and draw the story for you. I think it’s pretty epic. We’ll see.

  • 2525: North American Alliance – Science Fiction Stories

    2525: North American Alliance
    A collection of science-fiction stories
    By Chongchen Saelee

I’ve been thinking of a way to re-introduce my Asian-American superhero “Agent S” via a huge scope, a well-established world that’s based on reality. It’s not to be “more grounded” but to actually build on what really exists that people don’t care to acknowledge but might also be amazed by. So I will reintroduce Agent S as part of a collection of new sci-fi stories called “2525: North American Alliance”. It pays homage to the Pop Culture song “In the year 2525” and will be comprised of stories about how America transformed into the America that Agent S inhabits in his timeline. Hopefully, it sets the tone properly before I get to the kung-fu and explosions. (more…)

  • How We Came To Be

    http://youtu.be/V_DT-mg_3IA

OMG. I just realized how we came into existence. Watch that Sony gimmicky 4K ice bubble video and then you’ll realize how, if you have any inclination about physics and nature and chaos. In science, the laws of the universe are, well, UNIVERSAL. Therefore, whatever phenomenon you witness on Earth MUST be the same as it is on Mars, in the Milky Way, in a black hole, in the sun, etc. It should all be the same.

So watching that bubble freeze in high-speed video (I don’t know if it’s computer-generated or not, it might as well be, but that would defeat the purpose of Sony selling their cameras too not just their TVs). Anyway, the bubble froze into what resembled our Earth. Ain’t that a trip?

So we came to be because the Earth was some random bubble in space and froze. But it doesn’t pop like these bubbles because it’s so big and in it contained dirt and bacteria and other randomly evolving cosmos space dust. And then our ancient ancestors climbed out that boiling water ooze soon after.

    Whoa!!!
