DANGEROUSLY TOXIC TO EAT AND TOUCH.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong><em>UPDATE June 20, 2022 &#8211; It seems there&#8217;s some mixed messages about pokeberries, might be some kind of fearmongering. People do eat these and make pies out of them, although they say it&#8217;s not sweet at all, and that bad taste might be where the fear of death and poison comes from. So do your own research.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here are some random pics I took today straight out the Nikon D3200 DSLR. Them berries look too pretty. Warning though, these delicious-looking berries are actually incredibly toxic to humans and other animals like dogs and cows! Song birds can eat them though. They&#8217;re called <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Phytolacca_americana\">pokeberries<\/a>. So <strong>DO NOT EAT THEM<\/strong>! Also the sap is toxic too, so don&#8217;t let the sap touch your skin, since it can absorb in. <strong>DO NOT TOUCH IT!<\/strong> Should probably get rid of this thing before it gets too big.
