As IO (input\/output) devices become more high resolution, as developers we won’t be limited to designing our graphical symbols of interactivity to the finite resolution of the screen output. Therefore, we can actually take advantage of more pixels and mouse-resolution to trigger even more useful events and give users a more robust experience.<\/p>\n
EVERY pixel can be taken advantage of. Every movement, may it be through mouse, touch, stylus, can trigger an event. And once our software gets “smart” enough, you could even draw complex pictures or cursive (yes, don’t discount this literary tool yet) to login and logout of secure sites or for whatever other purpose.<\/p>\n
Can you envision browsing the Internet via only ONE screen? Each pixel represents EVERY website on the Internet. You just hover over each pixel and a thumbnail enlarges from it. If you want to visit it, you just click and it’ll go into full screen. Imagine that matrix! You could be browsing a 3D-pixel matrix as long as your hardware and bandwidth can handle it!<\/p>\n
I could go on and on, but the possibilities are ENDLESS.<\/p>\n
And you, future software engineers of the world, open up your minds and come up with solutions. The ones that work, keep em. The ones that don’t, scrap em.
