It was called Internet TV, but failed. Also, people can get a simple TV\/Video stick and watch &#8220;real&#8221; TV. YouTube doesn&#8217;t catch on for mainstream consumers because the FCC will be too uptight about regulating its content. And it&#8217;s all about controlling the content. Besides, YouTubers don&#8217;t have any real incentive to produce mainstream content. They&#8217;re getting paid beans.
